About Orange Hand Therapy
Orange Hand Therapy was established in 2006. The practice is co-located with an upper limb surgeon Dr Sam Kwa. We also have a second upper limb surgeon Dr Alex Tiedgen visit the rooms weekly.
This model of care where the treating surgeon and therapist are co-located is very beneficial for patients undergoing hand surgery and therapy. The patient’s team can communicate frequently, and everyone is working toward the same goal to restore or improve upper limb function.
Orange Hand Therapy accepts patients referred by other Specialists, G.P’s and patients who self refer. We are able to treat patients with acute needs (fractures, tendon and ligament injury), chronic and non-surgical needs. We accept CTP, WorkCover, private and Chronic Condition Management Plan (GP CCMP) patients.
